A useful fit

For teams that have outgrown scattered email and files

Aegis helps businesses organize Microsoft 365 around how employees actually work: email, Teams, shared files, access and the devices used to reach them. The aim is a supportable environment with clear ownership, rather than a collection of disconnected subscriptions.

What we can help manage

Depending on the agreed scope, we can help with Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, SharePoint and OneDrive structure, permissions, employee lifecycle changes and migration planning. Licensing, third-party applications and existing identity dependencies are reviewed before a design is selected.

Files scattered across locations

A file server, personal OneDrive and SharePoint library serve different purposes. We identify the authoritative location, access owners and sharing needs before moving or synchronizing data.

Access that is hard to manage

Joiners, leavers, shared mailboxes and external collaborators need deliberate ownership. We review account lifecycle, permissions and MFA requirements without asking staff to send credentials in a form.

A migration with business dependencies

Email, file paths, application integrations and device sign-in can be connected. We plan discovery, a representative pilot, change communication, verification and recovery considerations before a cutover.

From first conversation to follow-through

Know how the work moves forward.

  1. 01

Identify the current tenant, data locations, identity model, owners and application dependencies.

  2. 02

Agree the target structure, permissions, license requirements and what success means.

  3. 03

Pilot representative users and workflows; confirm approvals, communications and cutover timing.

  4. 04

Verify access and data behavior, document exceptions and provide a clear handoff for ongoing support.

Scope, access and approval

A cloud move does not automatically remove every server or legacy application. Identity and device-join decisions require a review of the actual operating systems and workloads. Customers approve access changes and migration windows; licenses, regulatory requirements and third-party support remain explicit dependencies.

Before you decide

Questions worth asking.

Should every shared folder go into OneDrive?

Not automatically. We examine ownership, collaboration and access requirements to decide which data belongs in SharePoint, individual OneDrive or another approved location.

Does a Microsoft 365 subscription prove our backups are adequate?

No. Retention, recovery options and any independent protection need to be evaluated against the information and recovery outcomes your business requires.

Can you help after migration?

Ongoing administration and user support can be scoped alongside the project. Ownership, support responsibilities and unresolved exceptions should be documented before handoff.
